METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR PRODUCING GLASS SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and arrangement for producing glass substrates, capable of cutting man-hour and stabilizing the crystal in the final product. SOLUTION: This method for producing glass substrates comprises the following consecutive steps: primary temperature-raising process where a blank material is put to temperature rise to a crystal-forming temperature T1 in a primary temperature-raising time t1; crystal nucleus-forming process where the blank material is held at the crystal nucleus-forming temperature T1 for a crystal nucleus-forming time t2; secondary temperature-raising process where the resultant blank material is put to temperature rise to a crystal growth temperature T2 in a secondary temperature-raising time t3; crystal-growing process where the blank material is held at the crystal growth temperature T2 for a crystal growing time t4; pressing process where the resultant blank material is molded to a specified shape at a press temperature T3 lower than the crystal growth temperature T2; and annealing process where the blank material after subjected to the press process is annealed in an annealing time t6.
