PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polybutylene terephthalate composition excellent in impact resistance, hydrolysis resistance and viscosity stability, further excellent in heat-cycle properties obtained by repeating a low-temperature and high- temperature tests, and thereby useful for a machine mechanism element, an electric or electronic part or an automotive part, having an inserted metal. SOLUTION: This polybutylene terephthalate resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) 0.5-50 pts.wt. one or more kinds of ethylenic resins selected from (B1) an ethylene (co)polymer and (B2) an ethylene (co)polymer obtained by copolymerizing 0.01-15 wt.% unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof, and (C) 0.1-6 pts.wt. epoxy compound comprising (C1) at least one kind of a glycidyl ester compound and (C2) at least one kind of a glycidyl ether compound.
