PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively attain prevention of the side-effect of 5-flurouracil(5-FU), for example hypoleukocytosis by administering chitin chitosan in a specific form in a specific carcinostatic method using 5-FU and chitin chitosan. SOLUTION: In a carcinostatic method in which (A) 5-FU and (B) chitin chitosan are orally used in combination, at least the component B is given in the enteric form to suppress the side-effect of the 5-FU. The amount of the component B is 3-40-fold in weight, particularly 12-60-fold based on the component A in weight. In a preferred embodiment, the enteric form of the component B is prepared as capsules, tables or resinates. In the capsule preparation, the component A is used as a core capsule component, and the core component A is surrounded with the outer capsule of the component B to form a double capsule structure. Or, in another embodiment, a capsule is divided into two sections and these sections are filled with the components A and B separately.
