COMPOSITE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SHARING PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite apparatus in which a previously developed printer board can be used by delivering a high speed signal outputted from a printer board directly to a print control means and delivering other signals to the print control means through a relay means. SOLUTION: Image data delivered from an external computer 120 through a printer board 2 is printed out. A high speed signal from the printer board 2 is delivered directly to a print control means and other signals are delivered to the print control means through an incorporated relay means. When image data from the control means is printed out, signal path to the control means is switched to deliver the high speed signal and other signals not through the relay means. Consequently, a previously developed printer board can be used when image data delivered from the external computer 120 is printed out to a composite apparatus.
