POLYCONDENSATION-BASED OXYGEN CAPTURING POLYMER HAVING UNSATURATED BOND IN BARCHING CHAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycondensation-based oxygen capturing polymer which has an oxygen permeation coefficient of almost zero, sufficient resistance against heat encountered during retort pasteurization, a large oxygen absorbing ability and little decrease of properties without a scission of a main chain even in a case of reaction with oxygen and can be easily recycled as a resin when it is disposed. SOLUTION: The polycondensation-based oxygen trapping polymer comprises a polycondensation-based linear polymer segment as a major component such as a polyester, a polyamide, a polycarbonate or a polyaryate and a hydrocarbon oligomer segment as a minor component having a carbon-carbon unsaturated double bond, the polycondensation-based linear polymer segment as a major component having an olefin oligomer with a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond which is bonded thereto as a branching pendant.
