摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check a degree of sand pile compaction in land formation by forming a correlation diagram in advance between a reaction force and an initial tangent gradient of a load-settlement curve of a plate loading test in a casing re-penetration process final step as to a sand pile in a great number of grounds. SOLUTION: In advance, in a greet number of grounds, a sand compaction pile is formed through a non-vibration type compaction process, and a reaction force in a casing re-penetration process final step is detected. On the sand pile, a plate loading test based on a small loading board is carried out for finding an initial tangent gradient Ka of a load-settlement curve. Then, a correlation diagram between the initial tangent gradient Ka and the reaction force is formed. The load-settlement curve is represented by the following expression: (S/B)/q=(S/B)/qb+1/(α×Ka). S is a settlement amount (cm); B is a minimum dimension (cm) of the foundation or a diameter in the case of a circular shape; (q) is an arrangement load degree of the foundation (kgf/cm2), qb is a limit supporting force of the ground between sand piles and a limit supporting force of the improved ground; and (d) represents a recession coefficient (a value of 1.0 or less).
