摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve slide characteristics, wear characteristics, and a strength by a method wherein a slide bearing used in a rotation support part for a heat treatment furnace is formed of amorphous carbon having a surface covered by a fluorocarbon resin film. SOLUTION: A slide bearing 1 to support rotation of axial movement of a shaft body has structure that amorphous carbon 2 molded in a cylindrical shape is fitted in the inner periphery of a sleeve 4 made of a metal through a cylindrical elastic substance 3. The amorphous carbon 2 is manufactured such that after the outer shape of powder prepared by blending silicon, boron, and a thickener in carbon is adjusted by a mold press, isotropic heating pressurizing sintering is applied and after the sintering, finish into a given size and coarseness is executed. By baking in a baking furnace after the amorphous carbon 2 is immersed in a fluorocarbon resin solution, a fluorocarbon resin film is formed on a surface and a given amount of fluorine is dispersed on a surface layer part. This constitution relieves slide resistance and a wear amount and provides an increased life.
