PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of retaining effects and having good cosmetic characteristics without any change in volume of each phase with time by including a specific volatile fluoro-oil in one phase in a composition for a multiphase cosmetic. SOLUTION: This composition comprises at least one kind of volatile fluoro- oil having >1, preferably >1.2 density in one phase in a composition for a multiphase cosmetic in the form of separate fluid phases. The phase comprising the volatile fluoro-oil constitutes the lower phase of the abode composition and the ratio of the volatile fluoro-oil is preferably 10-100 wt.% in the lower phase. For example, a perfluorocycloalkyl represented by the formula (n) is 4 or 5; (m) is 1 or 2; (p) is 1-3) (e.g. perfluoromethylcyclopentane) is cited as the volatile fluoro-oil. When the composition is in the two-phase form the upper phase is preferably composed of either one of an immiscible oily phase (e.g. a mineral, a vegetable or a synthetic oil) and an aqueous phase (e.g. sterilized desalted water or blossom-water).
