PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress development of cracks by preventing asymmetric wear of shoulder blocks and reducing deflection of bottom-up portions (tie bar). SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has shoulder blocks 3 arranged on a tread surface 1 in a tire radial direction with lateral grooves, in which bottom-up portions 4 are provided, disposed between the shoulder blocks. In this case, Z/Y>=0.025 is satisfied where Y is a section area index of the shoulder block 3, and Z is a correction index calculated by multiplying a section area index X of the bottom-up portion 4 with a ratio d/c, where c and d indicate a radial length of the shoulder block 3 and a width of the lateral groove, respectively. |
