PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum wherein a clamp bar is prevented from being deflected when the drum is rotated by a simple constitution and an image recording apparatus using this. SOLUTION: Channel parts 205-209 are continuously provided in the peripheral direction on the outer peripheral face of a drum 102 for an image recording apparatus wherein a plate is wound on the outer peripheral face and clamp bar restricting members 210-214 for restricting movement of a rear clamp bar 339 in the normal direction are freely slidably fitted in these channel parts 205-209.
