PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video data transferring circuit and to execute shift processing of data at a high speed in terms of the video data transferring circuit that is built in a printer, particularly having plural data transferring circuits and does not require new designing even when, for example, a printer engine is changed. SOLUTION: In the case where video data stored in a frame memory in a printer is transferred to a printer engine, a video data transferring circuit is constituted of a general video circuit 7 and a target video circuit 8. The general video circuit 7 has a circuit which is not affected by the replacement of the printer engine and the target video circuit 8 has a circuit which is affected by the replacement thereof. When the printer engine is replaced, the target video circuit 8 should be replaced at the same time, but it is not necessary to replace the whole video data transferring circuits.
