PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner with a hose reduceable in poof operation, allowing exhaust air from an electric blower built in a cleaner body to be returned into a suction implement via a hose and a pipe. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner has a suction passage and an exhaust passage formed in a hose 21, a pipe and a suction implement to be connected to a cleaner body in which an electric blower is built, the exhaust passage serving for returning exhaust air from the electric blower. The hose 21 consists of an outside hose 22 and an inside hose 23 to form the exhaust passage and the suction passage, and a long member is wound on the outside hose 22 and the inside hose 23 to form a tubular, flexible hose which assures easier flexibility of the outside hose 22 than that of the inside hose 23.
