WAVE ELIMINATING DEVICE AND OXIDATION DITCH APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave eliminating device capable of preventing harmonic waves and an oxidation ditch apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: In the oxidation ditch apparatus 10, rotors 14 are arranged to a circulating water channel 12 and the circulation of water to be treated and the supply of oxygen to water to be treated are performed by the rotors 14. The wave eliminating device 18 is provided on the upstream side from each of the rotors 14 and a plurality of pipes 26 are supported on the lattice-like support frame of the wave eliminating device. Each of the pipes 26 is formed so that the length L thereof is larger than 1/2 of the wavelength B of a swell wave and the radius(r) thereof is smaller than 1/2 of the amplitude A of the swell wave.
