<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean an ionization wire by providing an automatic ionization wire cleaner for automatically cleaning the wire. SOLUTION: An automatic ionization wire cleaner 41 is mounted on an ionization part. The cleaner is moved by rotating a screw shaft 64 with a DC motor M and sliding a slider 66 screw-joined to the screw shaft on a guide shaft 65. A cleaning member 67 provided to the slider is turned by the cam protrusion 61a of a ground electrode plate 60 to hold an ionization wire 48 between a couple of blades of the cleaning member 67, the slider 66 is advanced to move the cleaning member along the ionization wire 48, and the wire is cleaned by the cleaning member 67. The screw shaft 64 and guide shaft 65 are supported by a base frame 47 and provided away from an air passage and in parallel to the wire 48.</p> |
