PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of edge chipping in a panel caused by edge chipping of plate materials even when the plate materials for constituting the panel are fragile to impact and an external force. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a panel for covering a plate-like space with a pair of plate materials 2, 2 from the surface side and the reverse side by forming the plate-like space by opposing a pair of end materials 1, 1 at proper intervals, when adjacently arranging the plate materials 2 on the end materials 1, a butt end surface 2b in the plate materials 2 is hidden by a collar part 1a formed in a overhanging mode to the end materials 1.
