PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a process by inserting comb type net bodies each having an earth retaining part constructed of a rectangular net body part and a comb type inserting part extending from the lower end of the earth retaining part at proper intervals after spraying a vegetation bed onto a slope face covered by a net body and maintaining the vegetation bed by means of the earth retaining part in the comb type net body. SOLUTION: A plane type net body 2 constructed of a metallic net and the like is spread from a slope top 11 to a slope toe 12 of a slope face 1 and fixed in proper positions by means of anchors 9. A vegetation bed material 3 is sprayed onto the slope face 1 so as to cover the net body 2, and from the upper side of the vegetation bed material 3, comb type net bodies 4 are inserted vertically at proper intervals. After installing the comb type net bodies 4, when the vegetation bed material 3 is evened along an earth retaining part 41, the vegetation bed material 3 is formed in a step shape. As a foothold is formed, planting work can be facilitated, and moreover, vegetation is promoted because fallen leaves and seeds are accumulated. In this way, a vegetation bed material can be fixed to a slope face by means of a very simple construction method such as insertion of the comb net body alone.
