PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out construction safely by arranging a plurality of concrete blocks at predetermined intervals and connecting the blocks to each other by means of a connecting member formed at a predetermined length to be fixed to the block via its end part. SOLUTION: On the upper and lower faces of concrete blocks 1, 2, a projection part 1b, a recess part 1c, a projection part 2b and a recess part 2c engaging mutually are arranged. Between the blocks 1,2 arranged at a predetermined internal, a connecting member 3 made of flexible metal material, a wire with high strength, reinforcement, or steel material is suspended, and the end parts 3a of the connecting member 3 are inserted into fixing holes 1a, 2a of the blocks 1, 2 individually, while the circumference of the fixing holes 1a, 2a are filled with a fixing coagulating agent 5, and consequently, a concrete connecting block 4 is formed. In construction of a retaining wall, a plurality of the blocks 4 are piled up, while a clearance between the blocks 1, 2 is filled with a filler such as sand, crushed stone, or concrete fragments. In this way, execution can be carried out safely.
