PRODUCTION OF GALLIUM NITRIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce gallium nitride in high efficiency and at a low cost. SOLUTION: Gallium telluride as a gallium raw material is reacted with a nitride source under heating. The gallium telluride is decomposed at a low temperature to produce the highly active gallium. The active gallium is reacted with the nitride source to produce the gallium telluride in high efficiency. The tellurium 2 exhausted by the decomposition is recovered with a trumpet-shaped tube 1 for recovering the tellurium and then reused for the production of the gallium telluride. The gallium telluride produced by reusing the tellurium is used as a gallium raw material.
