PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation display device which can be reduced in its size, is inexpensive and is capable of widening the range of play. SOLUTION: A rotating body A is provided with a display plate 7 which is transparent and has a light guiding property, at least one light emitting body 10 which irradiate the end face of this display plate 7, a rotation detecting means 6 which detects the rotation of the rotating body A and a lighting control means 11 which controls the flickering of the light emitting body 10. Many refracting parts which refract the light emitted by with the light emitting bodies 10 toward the outside from the front surface of the display plate 7 and constitutes visual information (a), such as designs and characters, as a whole, are formed at the display plate 7. The lighting control means 11 flickers the light emitting bodies 10 at the timing synchronized with a prescribed number of revolutions of the rotating body A while the rotation detecting means 6 detects the rotation of the rotating body A.
