CHAFF RECOVERING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of stagnation in transportation of chaff by a transporting machine and to improve the separation efficiency in a separator by preventing the generation of suction air streams within the transporting machine. SOLUTION: This chaff recovering device is connected to a sorting device or a dust discharge port of a husking machine 11 having the sorting device and separates and collects the chaff discharged together with exhaust wind from this dust discharge port. The recovering device described above has a conical cylindrical body 4 constituting a separating cyclone 2 where the exhaust wind is introduced and the chaff is separated under swirling and a screw conveyor 3 which is connected at its base end to an opening at the bottom end of this conical cylindrical body 4 and lifts and transports the chaff. The cyclone 2 and the screw conveyor 3 are airtightly connected. An airtight chaff collecting bag 15 is hermetically mounted at the chaff ejection port 9 of the screw conveyor 3 to form the space from the cyclone 2 through the screw conveyor 3 to the chaff collecting bag 15 as a hermetic space.
