PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a clear print image continuously for a long term by specifying the ratio between the width at an inclining part and the depth at a base part and forming an inflated part at the inclining part. SOLUTION: The ratio between the width at an inclining part and the depth at a base part is set in the range of 25-100:100. The angleαfrom the end of the base part to the forward end of the character face part is thereby set in the range of 76-45 deg.. Width at the inclining part is set equal to or larger than 3 times of the feed pitch of laser light scanning in order to ensure three or more scans of laser light at the inclining part thus carving an inflated part. Since an inflated part is formed at the inclining part of a print body, a longitudinal/lateral pressing force and a frictional force acting on the character face part can be absorbed and the character face part can be protected against tilting or breaking. The inclining part can also be protected against tilting or breaking because a pressing force acting thereon is scattered and absorbed at the inflated part.
