PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel G-protein conjugated type receptor which comprises a G-protein conjugated type receptor containing a specific amino acid sequence, possesses high possibility as a target molecule for creating medicines and is used for the screening, or the like, of prophylactic or therapeutic drugs against central nervous system diseases, e.g. schizophreia, or the like. SOLUTION: This G-protein conjugated type receptor is a novel G-protein conjugated type receptor containing the amino acid sequence represented by the formula or a G-protein conjugated type receptor exerting the same effect as this receptor, possesses high possibility as a target molecule for creating medicines and is useful in the method, or the like, of screening out an agonist or antagonist for the development, or the like, of prophylactic or therapeutic drugs against central nervous system diseases, e.g. schizophrenia, Parkinson's disease, ache. This receptor is obtained by extracting mRNA from human cells or tissues by a conventional method, carrying out reverse transcriptase- polymerase chain reaction using this mRNA as a template by the use of a primer intercalating this receptor mRNA or a part of mRNA domain and integrating the resultant gene into an expression vector to express it in a host cell. |
