<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter material using a fabric, having practically sufficient deodorization performance, and excellent suitability to processing. SOLUTION: In this deodorizing filter material comprising an organic fiber constituting a fabric and having a group of sulfur-containing atoms introduced on its surface, the ratio (S/C) of the number of carbon atoms (C) to that of sulfur atoms (S) on the surface where the group of sulfur-containing atoms is introduced is 0.15 or more and the strength of the filter material when it is elongated by 20% is 100 (N/50 mm) or more.</p> |
