PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide creamy detergent compositions having excellent lathering performance such as lathering and lather quality, a refreshing feeling of use without feeling rough and excellent form stability. SOLUTION: A creamy detergent composition contains (A) N-lauroyl glycine salt and (B) N-myristoyl glycine salt whose counter ion is an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal with a weight ratio of (A) to (B) of 5/1 to 4/5 and, simultaneously, with a content of an N-octanoyl glycine salt of not greater than 0.2 wt.% based on the entire amount of the composition.
