PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rinsing method of a washing machine which is capable of effectively preventing water splash and is capable of shortening the time required for rinsing and dehydrating and improving the washing efficiency when executing rinsing and dehydrating in a rinsing stage. SOLUTION: This rinsing method for the washing machine consists of freely oscillatably hanging and supporting a water tank 3 in an outer box 1 and freely rotatably disposing a washing/dehydrating tub 5 provided with rotary vanes 4 at its bottom into the water tank 3, automatically progressing stages for washing, rinsing and dehydrating and executes the rinsing and dehydrating to execute dehydrating while pouring water in the beginning of the rinsing stage. A mist supplying device 15 is disposed above the washing/dehydrating tank 5 and while mists are scrolled in a direction reverse from the rotating direction of the washing/dehydrating tank 5, the mists are supplied into the washing/dehydrating tank 5 while the washing/dehydrating tank 5 is kept rotated at a high speed at the time of rinsing and dehydrating.
