HIGH-SPEED AND HIGH-QUALITY AQUEOUS INK-JET PRINTER TO PLAIN PAPER AND PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical density of printed matters from decreasing and prevent papers from being seen through too much when seen from a non print side which is caused by letting a quick drying ink permeate into papers. SOLUTION: An apparatus 30 for executing ink jet printing to a recording medium 34 is provided. The recording includes printing heads 40, 42, 44 and 46 for emitting aqueous ink liquid drops in the shape of images onto the recording medium 34 (paper). Aqueous ink to be used is a slow drying (high surface tension) ink which will not permeate in the paper/paper fiber 34 for a relatively long time. Moisture in the liquid drops are rapidly evaporated by dryers 52 and 54 while the ink is present at a surface of the paper before permeating into the paper/paper fiber 34.
