PURPOSE: A method for processing optical disc drive at the occurrence of buffer-underrun is provided to automatically take measures when the buffer-underrun is generated and effectively reuse a corresponding optical disc. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing optical disc drive at the occurrence of buffer-underrun includes the steps of checking whether an optical disc is a CD-ReWritable or a CD-Recordable(50), checking an address of a predetermined position after buffer-underrun is generated of a disc recording surface as the buffer-underrun is generated in case of CD-Recordable, setting the checked address as a program starting address of the optical disc(56), outputting a buffer-underrun generation signal to a host(54), and re-writing retransmitted source data according to the program starting address.
