PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water resistant laminated processed paper with the appearance and quality of paper kept by laminating paper on one side or both sides of a nonwoven fabric through a hot melt adhesive layer and specifying its Metsuke, wet tensile strength, and tear strength. SOLUTION: Laminated processed paper is produced by laminating paper 1 on one side or both sides of an intermediate layer 2 of a nonwoven fabric through an adhesive layer 3. The Metsuke of the processed paper is adjusted at 30-150 g/m2 in view of thickness, strength, water absorbency, air permeability, hygroscopicity, a price, etc. Wet tensile strength is made at least 1 kg/5 cm to keep strength when it is wetted, and tear strength is made at least 100 g to give toughness. The nonwoven fabric is preferably a thin long fiber nonwoven fabric of high strength, and Japanese paper is preferably used as the paper 1. The adhesive layer is preferably a fiber sheet of a melt blow type.
