摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer image receiving material, not generating any fading or oozing of an image when the material is preserved under a severe condition for a long period of time upon forming the image with post chelate technique and capable of obtaining a sufficient image density and a resistance to light. SOLUTION: This heat transfer image receiving material is provided with an image receiving layer, superposed on an ink sheet containing a heat diffusing coloring matter and capable of receiving the coloring matter of the ink sheet by heating an image pattern in accordance with a recording signal. In such a heat transfer image receiving material, the image receiving layer contains at least a metallic ion containing compound and an acrylic resin, containing a co-polymerized resin containing at least styrene or styrene derivative monomer and acrylonitrile monomer while having not less than 10 g/10 min of melt flow rate value specified by JIS K 7210.
