PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter which resists formation of thrombi even if indwelling in a body for a long period. SOLUTION: In this antithrombotic balloon catheter having a balloon 5 attached to a balloon attaching part 3 at the distal end of a catheter tube, a gap 7 formed between the catheter tube 2 and the balloon 5 is sealed by use of a reactive polyether type polyurethane or a silicone elastomer of the type which cures at room temperature, etc. |
