<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerobic treatment tank capable of fixing a large quantity of microorganisms though simple in structure and low in cost and having excellent sewage treatment capacity. SOLUTION: The aerobic treatment tank 2 for cleaning sewage by using aerobic microorganisms is packed with a contact material (1). The contact material 1 consists of string-like fixing parts 11 and a large number of string- like shaking members radially provided to the string-like fixing members in a protruded state over the length direction thereof and the interval L between the string-like fixing members are made smaller than a size 1.95 times the protruding radius(r) of the shaking members provided to the adjacent string-like fixing members and a whole surface aeration type air diffusion device 3 is provided just under the contact material.</p> |
