PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method which can utilize a conventional vacuum draw packaging machine as it is and is accommodative to various types of packaging without being restricted by properties of matters to be packaged such as fresh fishes and meats or processed foods and available for executing packaging at reduced costs. SOLUTION: A lower side packaging film 2 having a number of air holes 20 is laid on a base 10 of a vacuum drawing device 1 having suction holes 11 communicating with a vacuum pump 13, and after a matter W to be packaged is mounted on the upside of a paper mount 3 having indented grooves 30 extending all over its width at its upside laid on the lower side packaging film, a nonpored upper side packaging film 4 is put, being heated and softened, thereon so as to cover entirely the upside of the matter to be packaged. Then, the suction holes of the base, the air holes of the lower side packaging film and the indented grooves at the surface of the paper mount are made to communicate with one another, and with air between the matter W to be packaged and the paper mount and the upper side packaging film 4 sucked, the upper side packaging film, the paper mount and the lower side packaging film are welded together to form an airtight package.
