PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overrunning in positioning of a switch-over gear with a simple structure, by providing a lever guide with restriction portions at shift lever side thereof and a side where the shift lever movement ends and disposing the restriction portions within an area where the restriction portions do not abut to an end face side of a shift gear adjacent thereto. SOLUTION: A sub shift lever is formed notch-like on a guide plate and protrudes toward a driver's seat through a lever guide which guides forward and reverse movement of the sub shift lever. Movement of the sub shift lever is restricted since it abuts to the lever guide, where front and rear ends of the lever guide function are configured to act as restriction portions. Further, the lever guide is designed so that an end face of a switch-over gear 12 does not abut to sub shift gears 9, 11 or end faces of engagement gears 9a, 11a at the positions where the sub shift lever abuts to the lever guide. With this lever, a prevention mechanism which prevents the switch-over gear 12 from overrunning is simply configured.
