PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation and material break when bending force or the like is applied on a door sash for a passenger car and the like by constituting the door sash by mechanical bonding, without application of heat, of at least part of overlapped portions made of one or a plurality of material plates. SOLUTION: By bending a band material plate, a glass run holder portion 43 is formed. An end portion 44a of a weather strip holder portion 44 is formed adjacent to one end of the material plate, and the end of the material plate is folded to form a folded portion 46a. The one end portion of the material plate is then turned to form a hollow section portion 45 and a vertical face portion 42. The other end of the material plate is folded to form a folded portion 46b. The other end of the material plate is further folded back to form a horizontal face portion 41. The horizontal face portion 41 and the vertical face portion 42 constitute a weather strip holder portion 44. The folded portions 46a, 46b are deformed to be engaged and caulked with each other. In this manner, a door sash 4 is obtained, which is fixed at an overlapped portion 47 of the vertical face portion 42.
