PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having excellent reduction resistance in baking, showing a high dielectric constant and a low distortion factor after baking and excellent temperature characteristics of capacity by making the composition have a molar ratio of the composition of barium titanate and strontium zirconate in a specific range. SOLUTION: This composition has a molar ratio (X) of composition of barium titanate of 0.4<X<0.7 and a molar ratio of composition of strontium zirconate of 1-X. The addition of ferroelectric substance barium titanate in a specific ratio to paraelectric substance strontium zirconate balances a paraelectric phase with a ferroelectric phase and the composition shows a high dielectric constant, a low distortion factor and excellent temperature characteristics of capacity. The ratio of the average particle diameter (dBT) of barium titanate to the average particle diameter (dSZ) of strontium zirconate is preferably 1<(dBT/dSZ)<20. Strontium zirconate can be substituted with calcium titanate. Preferably the molar ratio (X) of composition of barium titanate is 0.05<X<0.25 and that of strontium zirconate is 1-X. |
