PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which can precisely associate the opening and closing state of a cover of an inserter with the operation, and improve the operability related to the operation including the insert mode by the association. SOLUTION: When an insert mode is set (S1003), it is determined whether an inserter cover is opened or not according to an output signal of a detecting sensor (S1004). Since the inserter mode is set when the inserter cover is opened, the effect (message, LED and the like) to that the inserter cover is opened is displayed (S1005). |
