<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new membrane-binding type C1 inactivator having a functional domain of a water-soluble C1 inactivator and an anchor molecule and capable of effectively suppressing a complement activation pathway causing hyperacute rejection in an organ transplantation. SOLUTION: This new membrane-binding type C1 inactiavator comprises a protein containing a functional domain of a water-soluble C1 inactivator or a modified domain in which one or several amino acids of the functional domain are deleted, replaced or added and retaining the suppression of the function of a complement activation pathway of a water-soluble C1 inactivator and an anchor molecule added to the end and/or the interior of the above protein, and can effectively suppress hyperacute rejection in an organ transplantation. The C1 inactivator is obtained by connecting a water-soluble C1 inactivator gene to an anchor molecule, transducing the gene into Chinese hamster ovarian cell(CHO), or the like, and expressing the gene.</p> |
