<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate compressor capable of preventing abrasion or seizure between a swash plate and a shoe without causing breakage of the swash plate. SOLUTION: This variable displacement swash plate compressor is provided with a thrust flange 40 which is integrally rotated with a shaft 5, a swash plate 10 connected through a link mechanism 41 to the thrust flange 40, and a piston 7 connected to the swash plate 10 through shoes 60, 61 which are relatively rotated on slide surfaces 10a, 10b of the swash plate 10 to reciprocate straight in a cylinder bore as the swash plate 10 is rotated, an inclination angle of the swash plate 10 is changed as pressure of a crank chamber where the swash plate 10 is contained is changed for changing stroke quantity of the piston 7, where carbon dioxide is used as cooling medium, with a circular step part 10e formed only on the rear side slide surface 10a of the swash plate 10, and plural needle rollers 52 and a race 53 for rotatably holding the needle rollers 52 disposed between the step part 10e and the shoe 60.</p> |
