PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troubles such as damage to a bearing body due to uneven contact between the bearing surface facing sliding contact surface of the bearing body and the bearing surface of a bearing body supporting seat by friction reducing action of friction reducing means between the bearing surface of the bearing body supporting seat and the bearing surface facing sliding contact surface. SOLUTION: A plummer block bearing has a bearing body 101 supported by spherical bearing surfaces 105 and the same spherical bearing surface 105 as a bearing body supporting seat. The bearing body 101 has a bearing supporting surface 109 and bearing surface facing sliding contact surfaces for contacting the bearing surfaces of the spherical bearing surfaces 105 to receive supporting force in order for the direction of the axis of the bearing body 101 to be able to change. At least in either of the spherical bearing surface 105 and the bearing body 101, friction reducing means such as lubricants, an ultrasonic vibration generator for reducing friction between the bearing surfaces of the spherical bearing surfaces 105 and the bearing surface facing sliding contact surface of the bearing body 101, are provided.
