PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convinient washstand for the time when washing hair while sitting down on a wheelchair. SOLUTION: A faucet 9 is provided at one side of a drain inlet 8 of a wash bowl 3 and a detachable shower head is provided at the other side thereof. Further, the washstand is provided with a water and hot water supply pipe 12 installed at the lower side of a counter 28, a drain pipe 17 for the wash bowl installed at the lower part of the drain inlet 8, a connection hose 13 connecting the water and hotwater supply pipe 12 and a shower head, and a water receiving tank 14 receiving the connection hose moving when the shower head is attached/detached. The water receiving tank 14 and the drain pipe 17 for the wash bowl are juxtaposed in the right and left sides.
