PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition usable very easily, free from any problem from a Be-Kind-to-Animal point of view as well, having great effect, and also having no harmful effect on pets such as side effects by including a specific amino acid. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) theanine and, pref. furthermore, (B) at least one compound selected from the group of compounds consisting of highly unsaturated fatty acids and choline, wherein the ingredient A is pref. the L-modification of theanine, and may be in any form, refined product, crudely refined product, extract, or the like; and the highly unsaturated fatty acid is pref. arachidonic acid or docosahexaenoic acid. The dose of this composition to a pet is pref. 0.05-100 mg/kg body weight when to be used as the ingredient A singly, or being pref. 0.02-20 mg/kg as the ingredient A and 0.2-80 mg/kg as the ingredient B when to be administered as the composition comprising the ingredients A and B.
