PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift a control rod of a transmission to a mode position with small force, and suppress necessity of high accuracy in controlling timing of starting and stopping of an electrically driven motor. SOLUTION: A transmission control device has an endless cam surface 51 which is driven by an electrically driven motor. The cam surface 51 is divided into a plurality of flat portions 51a to 51d having different position levels, and a plurality of tapered portions 51e to 51h. Each length of the flat portions 51a to 51d exceeds a diameter of a driven portion 71 of a control rod. A detection signal is emitted correspondingly to the position of the driven portion 71 by using two kinds of electrodes C1, C2 of a mode switch. The electrically driven motor is controlled based on the detection signal.
