摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase efficiency of carrying operation by staying the next document in standby by separating/feeding the next document in reading a preceding document, and carrying the next document at a speed higher than a reading time carrying speed up to an upstream prescribed position from a reading position in reaching a prescribed interval after the next document and the reading preceding document separate from each other. SOLUTION: An (n)th document waiting for inputting a start signal from a body control part in a register position after already completing first-out, is started to be carried downstream by a reading motor driven by the start signal, and is carried so as to become a specific reading speed before the document tip reaches up to at least a reading position. This control is performed by means of the pulse count of the reading motor. Reading of the (n)th document is started, and when detecting the rear end by a butting sensor 29, first-out operation of an (n+1)th document is started to simultaneously start an inter- paper pulse count (a pulse count of the reading motor) for deciding the timing for driving a register roller 30.
