PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the unsatisfactory effect of a preparation for external use for skin to a satisfactory level, for example, insufficient anti-inflammatory effect of a preparation for external use for skin containing only anti- inflammatory agent as an active ingredient, or cannot attain a desired level of the effect due to its deterioration in the preparation. SOLUTION: This preparation for external use for skin comprises (A) an extract from fruits of a fruit tree (Myrciari Dubia) in the family Myrtaceae extracted by using an extraction solvent and (B) an anti-inflammatory agent.
