PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat sensitive recording medium, suitable for the enlargement of a size, as well as the recording method and device for the same since a rewritable recording device in accordance with the size of a reversible heat sensitive recording medium is necessitated in a conventional reversible heat sensitive recording medium as well as rewritable recording device and when the size of the reversible heat sensitive recording medium is enlarged, the size of the rewritable recording device is also enlarged. SOLUTION: Heat generating bodies 11, arranged in a matrix shape in accordance with recording image element, a light reflecting layer 2, a reversible heat sensitive recording layer 3, changed into transparent or whitened color by heat and a protective layer 4 for protecting the reversible heat sensitive recording layer are laminated on the surface of one side of a substrate 1. The surface of the other side of the substrate 1 is provided with an input side connecting unit 13a, into which a recording information is inputted from an external source, and a heat generation control unit 12 for generating heat selectively in the heat generating body 2 in accordance with the inputted recording information. |
