PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emphasize a pattern of a kind being applicable to a special means configuration both in the size and in the variation speed while displaying patterns of a size which can be easily identified by a player. SOLUTION: This game machine is equipped with a pattern variation control means 31 which varies patterns for a special game of a pattern display section for a specified period of time and stops by a pattern starting demand from a pattern starting means 14, and a special game state generating means 36 which generates a special game state being advantageous to a player when the pattern for the special game which is stopped and displayed on the pattern display section after a variation becomes a special display configuration determined in advance. Then, the pattern variation control means 31 is equipped with a function which can contract at least one section of patterns other than the patterns being applicable to the special display configuration from among a plurality of kinds of patterns for the special game being variably displayed in the pattern display section which is being varied, under a variation state wherein the pattern for the special game which is stop-displayed in the pattern display section is about to become the special display configuration. |
