PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a driving source used for sorting and stacking. SOLUTION: This gathering machine is provided with a feeding part feeding stacked sheets 1 on respective feeding stages 3j one by one, a gathering and conveying part gathering a plurality of sheets 1 conveyed from the respective feeding stages 3j so as to become a gathered object 2, and conveying the gathered object 2 to a delivering part, the delivering part C delivering the gathered object 2 conveyed from the gathering and conveying part to a stacker D, a delivering stage 42 for staking the delivered gathered object 2, and the stacker D involving a pair of side fences 43, 44 on both outsides of the gathered object 2 delivered on the delivering stage 42. A pair of delivering wings 47, 48 are rotatably mounted on a pair of side fences 43, 44, and a pair of delivering wings 47, 48 are moved alternately between a standby position so as not to interfere with the gathered object 2 so as to match the delivering timing of the gathered object 2 delivered from the delivering part C, and an interference position interfering with the gathered object 2 so that the delivering direction of the gathered object 2 may be offset in a roughly orthogonal direction to the delivering direction, thereby attaining sorting and stacking.
