PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of damaging a recording medium clamped in a space between a transport roller and a press-contact roller. SOLUTION: Large diameter parts 28 shorter than a press-contact sleeve 30 are formed at spaces in the axial direction on a shaft part 27, and the press- contact sleeve 30 is mounted on each large-diameter part 28 with both ends thereof projected from both axial ends of the large-diameter part 28 to face on above an annular groove 29 formed between the adjacent paired large diameter parts 28, 28. By this arrangement, even if a press-contact roller 26 is pressed to a transport roller with strong pressure, both outer edges 31 of the press- contact sleeve 30 are permitted to escape in the annular groove 29 so as to eliminate the possibility of damaging a recording medium clamped between the press-contact roller 26 and the transport roller 25.
