PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly discharge a stored substance by a simple structure equipped with a pair of flexible sheet members suspended in a hopper main body from the upper part thereof and arranged so as to hold a charging port therebetween. SOLUTION: When dry sludge is discharged from a discharge port, a lid 26 is opened by an on-off mechanism 16 to bring the discharge port to an opened state. The dry sludge stored in the central part 12d of a hopper main body is discharged through the discharge port. At this time, the discharge angle of the dry sludge accumulated in the central part 12d becomes large because sheet members 14 become apparent inner walls and the dry sludge is smoothly discharged without forming a bridge. As the discharge of the dry sludge, the sheet members 14 is pushed back to the central part by the dry sludge stored in peripheral parts 12e to begins to bend toward the central part and finally return to the original positions under their own weights and the peripheral parts 12e and the central part 12d again become a state communicating with each other under the sheet members 14. By this constitution, the dry sludge in the peripheral parts 12e is smoothly discharged.
