PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve external appearance and achieve cost reduction by eliminating preformation of a cover material of a sun visor body. SOLUTION: An opening/closing lid 33 of this vanity mirror unit 30 is supported by a base 31 smaller than an outline of the opening/closing lid 33 capable of opening and closing. A tongue 35 is provided on the upper and lower side surfaces 31a, 31b of the base 31, with which a cover material 23 of a sun visor body 20 is slid inward. Therefore, interference between the cover material 23 and lid 33 in opening or closing the opening/closing lid 33 is avoided, and cost reduction is achieved by eliminating preformation of the cover material 23.
